this one time...

I was playing my guitar yaknow, but it wasn't making any noise, so I tore up the house looking for some batteries, only to realize that my guitar doesn't take batteries. So I went to the music store to buy a new amplifier: mine was obviously busted. The new one didn't work either! So I gave up on guitar and became a wealthy merchant, selling striped socks. I am much happier now, but once I went back to play my old guitar, I realized that the volume knob was just turned all the way down. I mean, aren't I stupid!

Just keep that in mind, next time.
